IPOH, Jan 24 (Bernama) -- The FA of Perak (PFA) is expected to lower ticket prices for all football matches at the Perak Stadium beginning next month.
Tickets for the covered areas are expected to be reduced from RM20 to RM15 while for terrace seats from RM10 to RM8.
A PFA source told Bernama an announcement on it was expected to be made when the PFA's management committee meets on Friday.
"A proposal has been submitted on the price reduction. We expect it to sail through," he said, adding that the move was in appreciation of the fans unwavering loyalty to the state team especially now that there are no longer any foreign players in the M-League..
He added that Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, who is also PFA president, had been informed of the matter and had given a positive response to it.
PFA secretary Annuar Hashim, when contacted, confirmed that the matter would be deliberated in Friday's meeting.
